Well hello there…
I’m Ben Fast.
I’m an educator, former cultural sector worker, artist podcaster, semi-professional networker, kayaker, traveler, photographer, bassist, cyclist, knitter, curler, reader, question-asker, writer, and occasional quiz host.
I currently live, work, study, play, and learn in Victoria within the traditional territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ and the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples.
I’m always happy to talk about projects, interests, or opportunities to work together. I’m an experienced conference speaker, have worked across the cultural sector, and love to find ways to get people excited about things.
I’m currently revamping my website, so updated contact information is coming soon.
I like to point at things in pictures. It comes from a strong sense of curiosity and a strong urge to share. It shows you where I’ve been or where I’m going.
That’s why on this site you’ll see projects highlighting my current interests, my passions, and my explorations. These are things I got excited about and wanted share with you.
A perfect example of this is my Well That’s Cool podcast project, a show I started at the beginning of the COVID-19 experience to keep me busy, fuel my curiosity when I couldn’t leave the house, and give me an excuse to talk with interesting people.
